Are you ready to get dirty? The front lawn at the library will have all kinds of messy activities for anyone to play with and in! Stop by anytime between 12 and 2!

Members of the McLean County 4-H will present a program about the mysterious ways plants grow. This hands on program will introduce attendees to what’s inside a seed and how they turn into plants. You may even get to start your own plant from a seed to take home!

Ready to make a farm animal stuffed animal of your very own to celebrate Summer Reading? This is the program for you! For $10 you’ll get an animal “skin”, stuffing, and wishing heart to put in your new friend, and an adoption certificate.

This is a very popular program and space is limited. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. No refunds will be issued.

Paint a portrait of your favorite farm animal with acrylic paints on canvas or color it on one of our custom coloring pages! All are welcome and the activity is completely free.

Wildlife rescue “Hoo” Haven will be here to talk about local wildlife in this fun and interactive event with live snakes, turtles, and a bird of prey.

It’s time for your Stuffie to join in the summer reading fun! Bring your stuffed animal to the library for snacks, stories, and a craft. Then your stuffie can spend the entire night at the library doing fun sleepover stuff. You tired friend can be picked up the next morning. Wait to see all the fun that they have!

Enjoy tea, snacks, and a whimsical craft during a magical forest tea party for kids and adults!
